Libby N. Halsey


Libby focuses on insurance coverage litigation, construction litigation, employment litigation, and personal injury. Her practice involves cases concerning construction defects, premise liability, and corporate litigation. She is licensed to practice in Missouri, and is admitted to the United States District Court for the Western District of Missouri.

Libby graduated from the University of San Diego with a degree in Psychology and emphasis in political science and sociology. Prior to beginning law school, she worked as a legal secretary at a general practice law firm in her hometown of Fort Scott, Kansas. She then attended Washburn University School of Law. Libby was a member of the Washburn Law Journal and during her second year, Libby’s case Note was selected for publication in the Journal. She then served as an Articles Editor and on the Symposium Committee during her third year. Additionally, Libby was active in several other student organizations, such as Women’s Legal Forum and Phi Alpha Delta legal fraternity, where she served on the Community Service Committee and as the Social Chair.
