April 2013:  Theresa Otto received the 2013 Litigation Practitioner Award at the 15th Annual Women's Justice Awards presented by Missouri Lawyers Weekly.

January 2013:  Ken Holm was recognized as a Top Rated Lawyer in Healthcare Law in Missouri and Kansas by The National Law Journal.

November 2012:  Our Firm was named one of the 2013 "Go-To Law Firms at the Top 500 Companies" after receiving a nomination by a national retail client in the area of Torts Litigation.

September 2012:  Lee Baty was included in Best Lawyers in America, which is the oldest and most highly-respected peer review guide to the legal profession worldwide.  

September 2012:  Todd Johnson and John Gates were named "Best of the Bar" by the Kansas City Business Journal. 

August 2012:   Theresa Otto was named to the "Top 50" Women Missouri and Kansas "Super Lawyers" after a peer review survey by Thomson Reuters.

June 2012:  Lee Baty, Ken Holm, Bob Numrich and Theresa Otto were each named again by their peers as Missouri/Kansas “Super Lawyers” after a peer review survey to identify the top five-percent of lawyers in Missouri and Kansas.  Todd Johnson, John Gates, Julie Numrich, Molly Westering and Clay Fielder were also named again as “Rising Stars” in Missouri and Kansas. 

April 2012:  John Gates and Lee Baty obtained an award of $100,000 for a general contractor client in a "baseball arbitration" against a subcontractor.  

December 2011:  Mike Cerulo and Jaudon Godsey obtained a defense verdict in a racial discrimination case in the City of St. Louis, Missouri.  

September 2011:  Todd Johnson was selected for the third straight year for inclusion in the "Best of the Bar" by the Kansas City Business Journal. 

September 2011:  Todd Johnson and Brandon Corl obtained summary judgment in the United States District Court for the District of Kansas for a national concert promoter in a premises liability case.

August 2011:  Patrick Hunt and Elizabeth Gillespie joined the firm as associate attorneys.  Patrick and Liz will focus their respective practices on personal injury, construction defect, insurance coverage and commercial litigation.  They were recently admitted to the bar in the state and federal courts of Missouri.
 
July 2011:  James Gretter joined the firm as an associate attorney.  Jim practices in the areas of personal injury, insurance coverage, construction, and business litigation.  He is licensed to practice in Missouri and Kansas.
