Karen L. Lloyd
Karen in an experienced civil litigator in the areas of personal injury, insurance coverage, transportation law, construction law, and product liability. She routinely defends large trucking distributors in severe personal injury cases and housing facilities in premises liability matters.
Karen recently obtained a defense verdict in a bench trial pending in Missouri against a national truck dealer. She has argued and won several summary judgments on behalf of her clients and recently argued in front of the Missouri Court of Appeals. She routinely works with experts, such as medical providers, life care planners and economists, to assess damages claimed in the areas of orthopedic and traumatic brain injuries.
During law school, Karen served as Associate Editor of the Law Review. She is licensed to practice in Missouri and Kansas, and she is admitted to the United States District Court for the Western District of Missouri and District of Kansas.
Karen obtained a defense verdict for a Missouri commercial truck distributor and maintenance company in a bench trial in Clay County, Missouri. The case involved allegations of breach of contract and negligent repair of Plaintiff’s truck.
Karen and Lee Baty obtained summary judgment on behalf of a property management company in a personal injury lawsuit. The case involved a motor vehicle accident with severe injuries to the plaintiffs.
