Clayton T. Fielder
Clay is an AV-rated experienced litigator in both civil litigation and workers’ compensation. He has extensive experience in representing both employers and insurance carriers in workers’ compensation matters. Clay also represents insurance carriers in insurance coverage disputes. He has argued workers compensation cases involving compensability and insurance coverage before both the Missouri and Kansas Courts of Appeals.
Clay’s experience in workers’ compensation matters includes representing both employers and injured workers. Clay also has extensive experience in civil litigation in the areas of personal injury, products liability, and construction defects. He regularly handles cases involving serious and catastrophic injuries and has the necessary experience in all aspects of the litigation process to obtain favorable outcomes for his clients.
Clay also serves as counsel for several businesses in the Kansas City area where he assists with corporate formation, human resources, and risk management.
Prior to joining Baty, Holm, Numrich & Otto, PC in 2005, Clay worked as an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Missouri, where he represented state licensing boards, the Department of Revenue, the Department of Mental Health, and the Second Injury Fund.
